At Christine’s Grooming studio, Christine specializes in feline grooming. With a calm, low-stress environment and a groomer trained specifically in cat handling and coat care, your cat is in safe, gentle hands.

Whether you cat is a short-haired companion or a long-haired beauty prone to matting, we tailor each grooming session to you cat’s coat, temperament and individual needs.

Have a nervous cat? No problem, Christine’s grooming studio has an exclusive cat grooming room to help keep your cat feeling safe and calm. Is your cat scared of the dryer? We can work on introducing your cat slowly to a dryer and have a cat exclusive dryer. This dryer is made for cats and is digitally temperature regulated to keep your cat’s safety #1.

Bath & brush out

This package Includes a bath with feline exclusive and safe shampoo, degreasing treatment, blow dry and full brush out. Perfect for all coat types.

Short hair: $80+

Long hair: $90+   

Brush out (does not include bath)

This package Includes a bath with feline exclusive and safe shampoo, degreasing treatment, blow dry and full brush out. Perfect for all coat types.

Short hair: $60+

Long hair: $70+

Comb clip

This package includes a bath with feline exclusive and safe shampoo, degreasing treatment, brush and comb out. Finishing the groom with a longer haircut between ¾ of an inch – 1 inch, leaving a natural or trimmed tail.

Starting at: $115+

Lion cut

This package includes a full body shave leaving a mane, boots and tail tuft. Ideal for matting, shedding or stylish clean-up. For this service bathing is optional but recommended. The bath includes feline exclusive and safe shampoo and a degreasing treatment.



Please let your groomer know if you would like a long or short mane, full tail, lion tail or trimmed down boots.

Bear clip

This package includes a full body hair cut that is not as short as the lion cut. Leaving your cats coat short and manageable but still soft with more of a teddy bear appearance. Your cat will also receive a bath with feline exclusive and safe shampoo and degreasing treatment.

Dinosaur trims

This package includes a full body shave leaving dinosaur spikes down the cats back and tail if requested. This is a fun stylish clip that looks adorable on any length of coat. For this service a bath is optional but recommended. The bath includes feline exclusive and safe shampoo and a degreasing treatment.



(Please note that this service is best for cats who have been groomed before as they need to be still while the spikes are shaved.)

Sanitary trim

This quick service includes a sanitary shave, nail trimming and ear cleaning. Great for keeping your cat clean after using the litter box.

Shave downs for severely matted cats

Matted fur can happen to any cat- especially long-haired breeds or cats who may not enjoy being brushed. We will approach each case with compassion, patience, and the utmost care. This service is specifically for cats with extensive matting that cannot be brushed out comfortably or safely. Removing mats safely takes more time to avoid stress or injury to your cat, sometimes this may require the appointment to be broken up into multiple sessions.



Severely mated coats sit tightly against the skin, increasing the risk of nicks, bruising or irritation- especially in senior cats. We will always communicate openly about any concerns and have your cat’s safety and comfort as our main priority.


Please let your groomer know when booking your appointment if your pet has severe matting, this way we can accommodate more time for your pet.

THE BEST PRODUCTS

We have chosen only high-quality products to use on your pet.


Each dog receives two baths with Chris Christensen Smart Wash shampoo or Hypoallergenic shampoo. Then we will use Kelco puppy tears face shampoo and Chris Christensen conditioner. This pet shampoo and conditioning system helps retain a healthy moisture balance in the coat while removing oil, debris and allergens. All dogs with undercoat will receive their second bath using Chris Christensen De-shedding shampoo and  finish with a de-shedding conditioning treatment.


We have chosen Opaws high quality exclusive cat shampoo. Each cat will receive two baths, one degreasing bath and one deep cleaning. Then they will get a conditioning treatment with our Chris Christensen conditioner.

GROOMING SALON POLICY UPDATES

Punctuality

Please be on time for your appointments as our staff is scheduled based on appointment times. Please be mindful of our hours of operation when booking your appointment. We have a 15-minute grace period, beyond this time we will not be able to accept your pet. After two no show appointments or appointments canceled without 24 hours notice, we will require a (non- refundable) pre-payment to schedule an appointment. Some exceptions maybe allowed depending on the situation. Please make sure your pet has gone to the bathroom before their scheduled grooming appointment.

Pick Up

Your groomer will give you an average time needed to groom your pet. We will call you 20 minutes before your pet is ready for pick up. We are a small salon and only groom one pet, per groomer at a time. We strive to keep a calm atmosphere for your pet. Please do not leave you pet longer than 1 hour after they are ready for pick up. If you are running late, need an early drop off or later pick up, please speak to your groomer to make sure we can accommodate you. (Beyond 1 hour late for pick up, we may charge $10 per 30 minutes)

Pricing

Our pricing may vary on the size, coat condition, type of hair cut requested and behaviour. Pricing may change or increase if your pet has mats, extra de-matting, or de-shedding, needs extra time or is showing signs of aggression. We want to continue to give your pet the best quality service and products. Please note that some price increases may apply at your next appointment, as our overall expenses have increased.
